I don’t know about you, but despite my best efforts (I haven’t tried that hard), my New Year's Resolution to get more ‘healthy’ hasn’t stuck. Now whilst I do believe health comes in moderation and I don’t need to change myself to love myself bla bla bla. There are many reasons as to why I haven’t gone to the gym yet. Firstly, I have been very busy, secondly the gym scares me and thirdly, I was waiting for the New Year gym rush to die down (one of my favourite excuses). But what trumps them all? The harsh reality is that I don’t have enough gym clothes. How am I meant to look my best if I don’t feel my best? No matching set? No gym. Those are the rules.
Lucky for me, Sportswear is in this spring. According to sources, sportswear is just getting better and better. Here are some must haves for the spring and onwards.
Talk about sporty. Not only are these a great shoe for the gym (I’d only use them for weights) but they have use outside of the gym too. We love a versatile queen.
Country OG x Liberty London Shoes
This Adidas and Liberty Collaboration is constantly on my mind. The Iconic Liberty florals on a traditional sporty shoe = a match made in heaven. These shoes are a great nod to those athleisure and make you look sporty without sacrificing a good outfit. Oh and it doesn’t hurt that they are just so cute!!
Another Adidias staple is a pair of Adicolor Classic Firebird Loose Track Tracksuit Bottoms.
Available in 10 colours, these multifaceted tracksuit bottoms are an item of clothing need. Paired with a white T-shirt or baggy jumper and you have created a stylish but comfortable casual look. Or opt for a fancy blouse and kitten heels and you now have an outfit perfect for an evening with the girls.
Lastly but by no means least, this M&S Unitard is something to behold. Now whilst M&S isn’t exactly aimed at our generation. They are a good brand to keep an eye on as they do have a few gems here and there. This Unitard is part of the girlfriend collective. A collection of athleisure wear, offering most of the staples and at really good prices. The use of this Unitard doesn’t stop after workouts.
